Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Specialist II to process, investigate, negotiate, and settle various claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze claims to determine the need for additional investigation
- Communicate directly with third parties and customers to investigate, negotiate, and conclude claims
- Evaluate, approve, and pay claims up to a pre-approved limit based on serviced products
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of customer service experience, including demonstrated teleservice skills
- 2+ years of claim processing experience, preferably in disability
- Demonstrated mathematical aptitude and ability to interpret medical and insurance documentation
- Fluency in Spanish (verbal/written) preferred
