Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Specialist II to process, investigate, negotiate, and settle various claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze claims to determine the need for additional investigation
  • Communicate directly with third parties and customers to investigate, negotiate, and conclude claims
  • Evaluate, approve, and pay claims up to a pre-approved limit based on serviced products
Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service experience, including demonstrated teleservice skills
  • 2+ years of claim processing experience, preferably in disability
  • Demonstrated mathematical aptitude and ability to interpret medical and insurance documentation
  • Fluency in Spanish (verbal/written) preferred
