Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed reviews of clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Identify documentation improvement opportunities and communicate them to healthcare providers
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on best practices for clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
  • CCDS, CDIP, RHIA, RHIT or other relevant credentials from AAPC and/or AHIMA
  • A minimum of 3 years' CDI experience, preferably in a client-facing role
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle protected health information (PHI)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Strong technological skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
