Clinical Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Specialist to provide technical support for clinical and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient molecular/serologic and manufacturing testing of samples, summarizing data for review and reporting
• Participate in method validations and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly quality control of equipment and systems
• Perform accessioning of clinical samples in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and maintain proper PPE handling

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or a clinical lab-related field
• ASCP certification or 16 semester hours of graduate-level coursework in relevant sciences if the degree is not in a clinical lab-related field
• Open to recent graduates
• Experience with molecular or serologic testing of samples is a plus
• Experience with clinical lab testing is a plus
