Cloud Migration Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Migration Engineer to assist clients in migrating workloads to AWS cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AWS migration tools and methodologies to assess, plan, and execute migrations of workloads to the AWS platform
• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless application migrations across compute, storage, networking, and security

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing AWS cloud infrastructure
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS migration services such as AWS Migration Hub and Database Migration Service
• Solid experience planning and executing cloud migration projects on the AWS platform
• Proficient in developing Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with scripting and automation using languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
