Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and cost optimization tools
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to identify and resolve security and infrastructure gaps
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and policies in line with industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related role
• Hands-on understanding of cloud native principles and cloud services (AWS preferred)
• Experience with Terraform
• General understanding of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, HIPAA)
• Working knowledge of cost optimization related to SaaS spend
