Condition Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a TPO Condition Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review 14-16 condition files daily to ensure compliance with credit underwriter requirements and investor regulations
• Communicate with internal and external partners regarding condition items that cannot be cleared
• Stay updated on investor and agency guideline changes, and maintain quality control ratings

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Prefunding QC, Underwriting Help Desk, or similar mortgage condition clearing roles
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Experience with FHA, VA, USDA, and Agency loans
• Knowledge of Encompass LOS
