Content Update Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a remote Content Update Editor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, write, and perform revisions, updates, and rewrites to content as needed according to specific project instructions and brand guidelines
• Fact check and copy edit on top of any larger revisions and updates
• Commit to at least 20 hours of work per week

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience writing or editing entertainment, pop culture, or celebrity-focused content
• Familiarity with writing in AP Style
• Strong research skills and knowledge of trustworthy news sources
• Comfortable with content management systems
• Access to a smartphone, computer (not a tablet), and a secure internet connection
