CPA Licensed Assistant Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Director - Assistant Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial results
• Establish and monitor effective internal control policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee coordination of outsourced income tax compliance and manage non-income tax compliance efforts

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred)
• CPA required, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or higher
• Experience managing a team of 10 or more people strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in leading financial reporting functions in a growth-oriented environment
• Experience in the telecom, fiber, or technology industries strongly preferred
