Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Reimbursement Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities

• Assigns CPT and ICD codes for moderate to high complexity cases and verifies charge information
• Communicates with providers regarding coding issues and performs reconciliation to ensure all charges are captured
• Researches and analyzes coding and payer-specific issues while processing charges in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience required
• CPC or equivalent coding credential required, with maintenance of certification
• Extensive knowledge of coding, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to apply payer-specific rules regarding coding and modifiers
