Job Summary
A company is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator II, Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely completion of initial and re-credentialing applications by assisting applicants with necessary documentation
- Maintain an accurate physician database and perform file audits, providing feedback on credentialing files
- Facilitate communication with applicants and RHMs to meet credentialing criteria within specified timeframes
Required Qualifications
- Two years of post-high school education, training, or experience; an associate degree in health administration or a related field is preferred
- One year of work experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of hospital settings and managed care organizations
- Understanding of NCQA and TJC standards, NPDB guidelines, and general licensing regulations
- Experience with database organization and management, and proficiency in Windows-based word processing software
- Current CPCS and/or CPMSM eligibility is preferred but not required
