Position Summary: This is a non-traditional coffee job focused on selling espresso machines and accessories. We are a luxury retail environment located in the Kirkland Urban shopping center. We are looking for a flexible part-time hire with relatively open availability, especially on weekends. We need a new employee who can:
Assist in the day-to-day sales of the retail store; provide outstanding sales and service assistance to retail customers, achieve sales objectives, handle routine sales/service issues and escalations, execute store maintenance and visual merchandising tasks, and work with associates within the store to improve selling skills, product knowledge and sales results

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Interact with all customers and maintain empathy and positivity in all interactions.
- Demonstrate the use and maintenance of machines.
- Set and achieve personal sales goals and assist in achieving store goals.
- Use Point of Sale system to process customer sales, returns, and swaps.
- Greet all customers in the store.
- When possible, offer coffee to customers as they shop or are waiting to enter the store.
- Clean and sanitize coffee service area and store surfaces.
- Restock and merchandise products and display areas.
- Assist with store opening and closing duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements- Be able to sit, bend, stand, move around the store and stockroom, and lift items up to 40 lbs. unassisted and possibly more on occasion with assistance
- Be able to use common retail tools such as basic computer applications
- Must be able to read and write in the English language
- Must be willing to work weekends
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in customer facing sales
- Work experience using POS and/or inventory management system.
Preferred Qualifications- Coffee/barista experience is a plu
