Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Associate to provide effective and efficient customer service to patients and doctor's offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Place and receive calls and faxes for prescription refills and provide information on mail order pharmacy benefits
- Respond accurately and courteously to patient inquiries and assist with routine questions regarding pharmacy benefits
- Document each call taken or placed and provide timely information on patient order status and product knowledge requests
Qualifications
- 1+ year of customer service experience and 1+ year of computer experience
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, courtesy, and discretion with customers
- Familiarity with drug names and understanding of the refill process
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws and medical adverse events
- Ability to work from home and occasionally in the office as required
