Job Summary

A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming billing customer service calls
  • Provide optimum customer service and respond to high-volume incoming communications
  • Review and update patient account data, ensuring accurate insurance and demographic information
Required Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of health plan benefits and eligibility verification
  • Ability to read, interpret, and explain EOBs and patient responsibilities
  • Education in medical billing or medical billing certification preferred
  • Experience with Mod Med/EMA practice management system is a plus
