Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming billing customer service calls
- Provide optimum customer service and respond to high-volume incoming communications
- Review and update patient account data, ensuring accurate insurance and demographic information
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of health plan benefits and eligibility verification
- Ability to read, interpret, and explain EOBs and patient responsibilities
- Education in medical billing or medical billing certification preferred
- Experience with Mod Med/EMA practice management system is a plus
