Data Architect with AWS Expertise

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Architect to oversee data platform initiatives on AWS with a focus on healthcare data and AI enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement an enterprise-wide data architecture strategy for interoperability and AI/ML readiness
• Design and maintain scalable, secure data lakes using AWS services while optimizing data storage and retrieval strategies
• Collaborate with data science teams to implement embedding models and manage vector storage systems for intelligent data access

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 8-12+ years of experience in data architecture, with 3-5 years in a technical leadership role
• Proven experience with AWS-based data lakes and analytics pipelines
• Deep understanding of healthcare data standards, particularly FHIR and HL7
• Expertise in data security, encryption, access control, and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA
