Data Engineering Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VP, Director of Data Engineering in Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategic vision for enterprise data pipelines and platform architecture
• Own the full data lifecycle, including data ingestion, transformation, integration, and storage
• Build, manage, and mentor high-performing teams in data engineering and architecture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in data engineering and architecture roles
• At least five years in a leadership capacity
• Extensive experience in designing and managing complex data pipelines and platform architecture
• Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated environments preferred
