Data Governance & Quality Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Governance & Quality Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive data governance strategy execution and establish data ownership models
• Implement automated data quality checks and manage key data quality KPIs
• Serve as product owner for data governance tooling and ensure cross-functional alignment

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or a PhD with 3 years of experience
• Strong experience working cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, product, and legal teams
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using Snowflake for data processing
• Deep understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
• Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring data quality programs at scale
