Data Sciences Principal Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Sciences Principal Scientist - Translational Safety and Risk Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate safety signals and translational risk patterns using computational biology and AI/ML methods
• Develop automated data aggregation, processing, visualization, and interpretation pipelines
• Collaborate with internal teams to align AI/ML initiatives with strategic project goals

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD) in a relevant field with 2 years of industry experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years, or a Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience
• 5 years post-PhD or 10 years post-Master's experience in drug discovery/development
• Proficiency in programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar languages
• Experience with advanced AI/ML techniques and statistical modeling
• Understanding of biopharmaceutical research and drug development pipelines
