Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Engineer who is passionate about creating beautiful, intuitive, and highly performant user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own the user interface of the core product using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
• Collaborate closely with design and engineering to conceptualize and implement new user-facing features
• Prototype and iterate rapidly on UI concepts directly in the codebase

Required Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of experience as a Design Engineer or frontend engineer with strong design skills
• Strong portfolio of projects built with React and TypeScript
• Expertise in modern CSS, especially utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS
• Proven experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries
• Comfortable exploring in Figma, code, or AI tools for rapid prototyping
