position overview
The Digital Marketing Intern’s primary responsibility is to support the agency team in the execution and success of our clients’ content marketing and inbound marketing programs.
Two academic or professional letters of recommendation will be required prior to an interview.
primary responsibilities
• Provide hands-on support across a variety of digital marketing tasks to help keep projects moving forward
• Assist with content entry, updates, and formatting in platforms like WordPress and HubSpot
• Help draft, organize, and schedule client-facing content (social media posts, blogs, newsletters, etc.)
• Conduct light research to support marketing strategy, content development, and client deliverables
• Monitor digital channels (social media, email, etc.) and help track performance trends or engagement
• Participate in internal brainstorms and contribute ideas for creative campaigns, content, or process improvements
• Pitch in on detail-oriented tasks that help keep the team organized and ahead of deadlines (may include data entry, quality checks, or platform cleanup)
• Collaborate with project manager and account leads to support client deliverables in-flight
• Other duties as assigned (we’re a small team—everyone jumps in where needed)

• Help update website content, blog posts, and metadata for SEO
• Draft or prep reports using analytics tools to help measure campaign performance
• Support internal agency initiatives (social media, website, thought leadership, etc.)
requirements
• Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in digital communications or related field such as marketing, journalism or graphic design
• Attention to detail (our “MIT” or Most Important Thing)
• Impeccable oral and written communication skills
• Creativity
• Available to work at least 10 hours per week
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Strong organizational, project management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and troubleshoot new programs/software
preferred
• HubSpot, Inbound Marketing and/or Google Analytics Certification
• AP Style familiarity
• Working knowledge of WordPress and HTML
Job Type: Part-Time / Contract
Hours: Mon – Fri
Location: 100% Remote (Agency located in Central Time Zone)
Pay: $15 – 18 per hour depending on experience
