Director of Data Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director, Applied Science and Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the AI/ML and data science roadmap aligned with business goals
• Oversee the design and deployment of AI models, including Generative AI solutions
• Manage large data ecosystems to ensure data quality and governance for AI/ML initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
• 8 - 10+ years of experience in applied science, AI/ML development, or data science leadership roles
• Proven success in both large enterprise environments and startup ecosystems
• Extensive experience with large-scale data sets and deploying AI/ML solutions in production
• Experience with Generative AI models, LLMs, and NLP technologies
