Director of Security Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Security Engineering and Operations to lead security infrastructure and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for enterprise-wide security engineering and operations
• Oversee the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of security tools and technologies
• Direct 24/7 operational management of threat detection and incident response

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
• Proven success with security tools such as EDR/XDR, DLP, and WAF
• Experience with cloud security operations in AWS and Azure environments
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security
