Director of Software Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead its engineering team and set the long-term technology vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, deployment, and scaling of a cloud-based, EHR-integrated SaaS platform
• Hire, manage, and grow a high-performing team of engineers and technical leaders
• Lead the release management process and define technology KPIs and budgets

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive role
• Proven ability to scale and manage high-growth engineering organizations, preferably in B2B SaaS or digital health
• Strong knowledge of modern tech stacks (e.g., React, Java, MySQL, AWS)
• Deep understanding of EHRs and EHR integrations, interoperability standards, and HIPAA-compliant architectures
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or graduate degree is a plus
