Distinguished Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Distinguished Engineer (PST US / Canada, Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Define the technical architecture of the Live technology layer, focusing on real-time collaboration and streaming data
• Make foundational choices regarding scalability, reliability, and extensibility for platform growth
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to prototyping and core infrastructure development

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering experience at the Distinguished Engineer/Chief Architect level or equivalent
• Deep expertise in large-scale distributed systems or real-time data streaming
• Proven ability to define and deliver technical architecture supporting multiple products
• Strong collaboration skills with senior design, product, and executive leaders
• Based in the Pacific Time Zone or able to work core hours
