Job Summary
A company is looking for an Editor to conceptualize, write, edit, and implement communication strategies for various constituencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, draft, and distribute monthly newsletters and other communications
- Produce the department's annual report, coordinating all editing and publishing processes
- Assist with conference planning and support, along with other administrative tasks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Liberal Education, or a related field
- Two years of professional experience in editing and directing publication projects
- Strong grasp of the English language, including grammar and punctuation
- Experience with Adobe InDesign
- Ability to read academic texts and rewrite main ideas for a general audience
