Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Administrator and Purchase Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our procurement processes. Your key responsibilities will include: Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain records of purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant data into our database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Purchase Assistance: Collaborate with the purchasing team to process orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of transactions, vendor information, and other procurement-related data, ensuring easy access and retrieval. Communication: Interact with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise, providing excellent customer service and support. Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of data entered, identifying and correcting errors as needed, and implementing measures to prevent future errors. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you’ll need: A high school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or prior experience in data entry or procurement is a plus. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy, with the ability to maintain high levels of precision in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills, including bolthires Office and bolthires Suite. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders. The ability to work independently in a remote work environment, with minimal supervision. Preferred qualifications include: Prior experience in data entry or procurement, with a proven track record of accuracy and efficiency. Familiarity with procurement software and systems, such as ERP systems. Certifications or training in data entry or procurement, such as Certified Data Entry Specialist (CDES) or Certified Procurement Professional (CPP).
