Entry-Level Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineer I responsible for the engineering and design of DWDM systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and report project progress
• Work with Fiber Optic Transmission equipment and create installation design packages
• Develop funding approval with project plans, cost estimates, and monitor expenditures

Required Qualifications

• Engineering Degree (EE or ME preferred) or equivalent experience in fiber optic system engineering
• 0-2 years related experience or 4+ years equivalent Engineering/Technical experience
• Basic understanding of the telecommunications industry and engineering disciplines
• Intermediate skills with Excel, Visio, CAD, Word, and Access
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
