Entry-Level Marine Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Jr. Structural Engineer to join their interdisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in solving structural engineering challenges on complex ship design projects under the guidance of senior engineers
• Prepare technical deliverables such as specifications, analysis reports, and test procedures
• Perform technical analyses using U.S. Navy specifications and commercial classification society rules

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance (current clearance preferred)
• Bachelor's degree (BS) or higher in Engineering (Naval Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or related discipline)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team on ship design projects
• Experience through coursework, internships, or prior employment involving U.S. Navy ships and/or commercial maritime vessels is strongly preferred
