About the Role: Data Coder (Part-time, Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Coder to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Data Coder, you will play a critical role in conducting research and reviewing clinical trial information for purposes of coding information to standardized forms. Your primary focus will be on Global Clinical Trial Site Name and Address information, with the goal of coding new sites to existing records within our site database, gathering additional information, and standardizing site records for use across our data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research and review clinical trial information to code data into standardized forms
• Focus on Global Clinical Trial Site Name and Address information to match new sites to existing records and standardize site records
• Assist with web-based research pertaining to biopharmaceutical R&D, including disease, CRO, or other related topics
• Gather additional information and standardize site records for use across our data platforms
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, which may occasionally be unrelated to the position described
• Maintain attendance and punctuality, as these are essential functions of the position

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in any area of study, or currently enrolled in undergraduate studies
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze information
• Ability to conduct web-based research and proficiency in MS Excel
• Patience and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
• Dependability and results-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• While not required, being multi-lingual is a plus

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are preferred:
• Previous experience in data coding, research, or a related field
• Knowledge of clinical trials, biopharmaceutical R&D, or a related industry
• Experience with data analysis and standardization
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a flexible and proactive approach

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate for this part-time position, with a range of $20.20 to $26.20 per hour, depending on your qualifications, experience, and location.
