Family Medicine Peer Reviewer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Peer Reviewer (Subcontractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records for standard of care determinations and provide quality improvement recommendations
• Discuss clinical disease processes, published guidelines, and overall care provided in reports
• Adhere to corporate policies, including those related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Active unrestricted license
• Board certification (Physicians only)
• 5 years' clinical experience as a Family Medicine Physician in an outpatient setting
• Active clinical practice of at least 20 hours per week
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
