FCC Licensed Handiham Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Handiham Coordinator Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with members and respond to inquiries about Handiham Program Membership
• Support members with Amateur Radio equipment accessibility and assist students studying for license exams
• Promote the Handiham Program by attending events and assist in radio camp preparation

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with relevant education and/or experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active Ham Radio Operator with regular on-air activity and club involvement preferred
• FCC Technician Radio License required within 6 months of hire
• Experience in Assistive Technology, especially for visually impaired individuals preferred
