A company is looking for a Manager, Federal Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, analyze, and report on federal legislation, regulations, and political developments impacting the business
- Support direct lobbying activities, coordinate Hill meetings, and build bipartisan relationships with Congressional staff and agencies
- Represent the company in key industry coalitions and trade groups, ensuring alignment between internal priorities and external positions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in federal government affairs, including roles on Capitol Hill or in federal agencies
- Strong understanding of federal legislative and regulatory processes
- Prior experience in the beverage, consumer goods, or food industry preferred
- Knowledge of key issue areas such as packaging, sustainability, health, and trade preferred
