Federal Procurement Buyer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Buyer who will manage the end-to-end procurement of goods and services in a dynamic, agile organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply procurement techniques to support acquisition planning and strategies for materials, software, and services
• Negotiate procurement details and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Conduct supplier cost management and perform price analysis to ensure fair pricing and minimize risks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience and professional training
• 3+ years of relevant experience supporting Federal contracts
• Proven experience in managing strategic purchasing agreements and handling complex negotiations
• Familiarity with FAR clauses and contractual requirements
• The ability to obtain and maintain a high-level government security clearance
