Key Responsibilities
- Identify and collect outstanding patient balances while discussing payment options
- Monitor unpaid balances and assist patients in understanding amounts owed and payment plans
- Handle escalated patient account issues and complete necessary reports and analyses
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of customer service experience in healthcare
- 1 year of billing experience
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Familiarity with billing and coding regulatory guidelines
- Consistent access to a private work environment with high-speed internet
