Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Counselor to provide financial counseling to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial counseling to insured and uninsured patients
• Assist patients in completing requirements to meet their financial obligations and verify insurance eligibility
• Complete applications for coverage and determine financial assistance and payment arrangements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred
• 3 years' experience in hospital registration, authorizations, or related experience required
• Experience in customer service required
• CRCS certification preferred
• Familiarity with rules and regulations pertaining to Federal, State, and County programs
