Job Summary
A company is looking for a Financial Records Coordinator to oversee and maintain patient billing records.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure timely receipt of admission and recertification documents for billing accuracy
- Coordinate with various departments to obtain necessary pre-billing information and maintain compliant billing files
- Generate monthly billing reports and assist with Medicaid applications and other billing processes
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or Certificate in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of billing and collections experience in a healthcare organization
- Preferred experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations
- Familiarity with computer office/clinical software
