Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop agentic workflows using LLMs for real-world task execution
• Create customization layers for organization-specific logic and learning agents
• Build AI pipelines with evaluation, feedback loops, and monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of machine learning experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and 2+ years with LLMs (Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Experience in building and deploying production AI systems, including RAG and vector search
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI safety, and content filtering best practices
• Expert-level experience with Rails (3+ years), including REST APIs, PostgreSQL, ActiveRecord, and RSpec
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
