Key Responsibilities

• Write trending news and short-form stories (400-800 words)
• Track emerging storylines across sports, athlete culture, and social media
• Submit clean, publish-ready copy on deadline and collaborate with editors

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of one or more major sports (NBA, NFL, MLB, etc.)
• Experience in news writing with an understanding of clickable stories
• Ability to write multiple stories per week in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English with excellent grammar
• Bonus: Familiarity with SEO, WordPress, Trello, and Google Trends
