Job Summary As a Front End Developer at Workwarp, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, implementing, training, and maintaining our federal government’s critical systems. You will work closely with our diverse team to gain an in-depth understanding of business requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet our clients’ needs. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet their needs. Design and develop reports for functional documentation, including monthly and weekly reports, to support data warehouse management. Deliver high-quality weekly reports that document file receipt from platforms participating in demos to TACOM. Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure that systems are functioning properly and efficiently. Design and implement improvements to the warehouse’s structure or add new features as needed to support changing business requirements. Maintain the organization’s data warehouse infrastructure and monitor data connections between shareholders. Identify opportunities for automation of repetitive tasks within the warehouse to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Create metadata to describe data sets for easier retrieval and analysis. Pull data from data warehouse and vantage to support client requests. Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming. Peer review and provide guidance to developers during development. Review shareholders’ changes to database and provide feedback and assistance. Assist project managers in CBM enabling platforms and providing technical assistance, documentation, and data as requested. Verify files sent meet ABCD specification and provide guidance to project managers on how to reach compliance. Essential Qualifications Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of web service standards, including SOAP, REST, WSDL, WS-I Basic Profile, and WS-* extensions and standards. Experience with SOA stack, including Oracle Enterprise Service Bus, rules engine, service broker, BPEL engine, and metadata registry. Proficiency in XML standards, including XML, XML Schema, XLST, XPath, XML Namespaces, and XML parsing. Experience with Java Enterprise Edition, including Enterprise Java Bean-3, JAX-Web Service, dependency injection, security frameworks, and transaction framework. Professional Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience or Associate’s degree with 7+ years of experience. Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one. U.S. Citizenship. Preferred Qualifications Technical Skills Experience working within Army Logistics. Familiarity with data warehouse management and metadata creation. Knowledge of automation tools and techniques. Soft Skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
