GIS Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Analyst to contribute to geospatial data analysis and advanced LiDAR applications for Utility Vegetation and Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret LiDAR data for Utility Vegetation and Asset Management in Transmission & Distribution networks
• Utilize GIS tools to map, track, and analyze utility assets, ensuring data accuracy and integration into asset management systems
• Perform quality control checks on spatial data to maintain accuracy and consistency across databases

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience working with spatial data and GIS analysis
• Bachelor's degree in geography, environmental science, planning, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in ESRI software, vector-based platforms, and Terra Solid products
• Experience in GIS applications for utility vegetation or asset management
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting LiDAR mapping and analysis for vegetation and infrastructure assessment
