Position Overview

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Internist or Nursing Home Physician for a Nursing Home located in Bronx, New York. This position is open to both Board Certified and Board Eligible candidates. Residents and fellows are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess symptoms and health concerns
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, heart disease, diabetes)
• Prescribe medication, therapy, and other specialized care
• Discuss test results and prescribed treatments with patients
• Monitor patients' conditions, adjust treatments, and re-evaluate care plans as necessary
• Provide health and wellness advice, including diet, activity, and disease prevention
• Immunize patients against preventable diseases
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
• Refer patients to specialists when needed
• Provide support and advice to patients receiving long-term care
• Conduct research into new medications, treatments, and procedures

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active NY State License
• Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (Residents and fellows are welcome to apply)
