Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join a Rehabilitation Facility in Woodstock, VA. This per-diem role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping individuals regain independence in daily activities through therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Active VA Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Current BLS certification.
  • Experience: 1+ year of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, adaptive equipment, and EMR documentation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs (activities of daily living).
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PTs, SLPs, physicians) to optimize care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.
