Healthcare Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Analyst II to analyze healthcare utilization and identify cost reduction opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare utilization to identify patterns, variation, and outliers
• Evaluate the effectiveness of medical cost reduction initiatives and provide analysis to inform provider performance improvement
• Support ad-hoc analytics requests and conduct root cause analyses of adverse population health outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare analytics
• Managed care experience is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare data, including claims and EMR data
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as data analysis tools like SQL or Tableau
