Hematopathologist MD License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Per Diem Hematopathologist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic interpretation and sign out of flow cytometry and FISH cases
• Reads and interprets laboratory data while ensuring quality control and assurance
• Participates in case consultations and collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to maintain high standards

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification/eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Hematopathology preferred
• At least five (5) years of attending level experience in hematopathology strongly encouraged
• Active and unrestricted Medical License in the state of residence required; TX and NY licenses preferred
• Willingness to engage as a 3rd party consultant
• Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary team and using an automated laboratory information system (LIS)
