As Social Media Assistant, you’ll support our Community Manager in fostering authentic engagement, telling our story, and amplifying the HOMES experience online. Your execution-focused mindset and fresh, curious perspective will help translate on-site moments into shareable content that resonates with our guests and community. What You’ll Do
- Execute Content with Precision
- Create, edit, and schedule posts, stories, and reels from an approved content calendar
- Use your curiosity to spot trends and suggest micro-content ideas for Manager approval
- Ensure every piece of content reflects HOMES’ brand voice and values
- Engage Our Community
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond using pre-approved tone guidelines
- Flag any sensitive or strategic inquiries for Manager review
- Track & Report Performance
- Review metrics with Community Manager on a weekly basis
- Highlight trends, guest sentiment, and content ideas for Manager consideration
- Maintain Quality Control
- Submit all draft content and partnership proposals for Manager approval before publishing
- Keep an organized approval workflow to ensure timely, error-free posts
- Support Cross-Team Initiatives
- Assist with on-site event coverage by capturing photos and videos as directed
- Help prepare basic promotional materials and support other departments’ content needs
- Develop Your Skills
- Participate in structured learning sessions on digital tools, editing, and analytics
- Present any new ideas or improvements to your Manager for review
- 1–2 years of social media or digital marketing support experience (internship, campus org, or entry-level)
- Basic photography and copy writing skills essential
- Proficiency with scheduling platforms (Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.)
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or equivalent)
- Strong written/verbal communication and an eagle-eye for detail
- A natural curiosity and fresh perspective to identify trends and understand guest viewpoints
- Ability to follow structured plans and thrive under manager guidance

Pay: $18-23 per hour (based on experience)
