Job Description

IFS Academy is on the lookout for a dynamic and open-minded undergraduate student to join us as an Undergraduate Trainee - Consultant Digital Learning.

As an Undergraduate Trainee, you will support the design and creation of engaging and effective eLearning courses. This role involves working with digital learning tools, building interactivity such as quizzes, assisting in audio/video production, testing courses before release, and managing content on our Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather requirements and provide guidance or training on content and course creation.
  • Design and develop digital learning material, incorporating modern technology and instructional design best practices.
  • Upload and update courseware, assign training, and configure rules in the LMS.
  • Leverage LMS capabilities to recommend effective delivery strategies for an engaging learner experience.
  • Support training delivery by assisting instructors with LMS-related queries and issues.
  • Conduct research into new methods, tools, and techniques to improve eLearning content quality and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in teams, while also being capable of taking initiative.
  • Knowledge of visual design, multimedia learning, and user experience best practices.
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and work effectively within a project-based environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when required.
  • An interest in instructional design principles and a willingness to learn how they apply to eLearning. Prior exposure is a plus, but not required.

Desired technical expertise: 

  • Knowledge of tools such as Articulate, Synthesia, Camtasia, or Adobe Suite, with a willingness to learn them during the internship
  • Experience in audio/narration editing and graphic design.
  • Familiarity with web development (HTML and CSS).
