Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Engineer I to ensure technological and digital security by mitigating cyber threats and assessing vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Administers security tools and processes, participates in audits, and develops risk mitigation solutions
• Identifies potential threats and vulnerabilities, compiles data, and creates actionable intelligence
• Investigates and resolves security incidents, including unauthorized access and malware infections

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience in systems engineering, networking, or information security, or
• High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience in systems engineering, networking, or information security
• Knowledge of Active Directory architecture, LDAP, Kerberos, and Group Policy
• Familiarity with multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and identity federation
• Understanding of security frameworks such as NIST or CIS and compliance standards like SOX and PCI DSS
