Information Systems Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure systems for defense clients to withstand advanced cyber threats
• Coordinate with government groups and contractors to translate IT needs into secure solutions
• Investigate new techniques and customize solutions to balance security and mission requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with security controls in an enterprise environment compliant with RMF
• Experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or ISSM, performing ISSE duties as per DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, STEM fields, or 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Secret clearance required
• DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Information Assurance Technical Level 2 Certification
