Iowa Licensed Bridge Project Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Bridge Project Manager responsible for managing transportation design projects related to bridge engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project proposals to determine scope, time frame, funding limitations, and staffing requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced personnel
• Manage staff utilization, prepare scopes of work, and ensure quality control for bridge design projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Engineering Management, or similar
• Iowa P.E. license is required
• 8+ years of experience in bridge design and transportation engineering, with at least 2 years in project management
• Familiarity with Iowa DOT standards and procedures
• Proficiency in bridge analysis and design software, including Microstation and Microsoft Office
