IT Applications Trainee

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Applications Trainee to develop an understanding of IT processes and procedures, including the software development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and modification of simple software programs and participate in review sessions with IT colleagues
• Conduct data and system analysis, including loading and balancing creation of derived fields and formatting
• Support the development and testing of software using specified programming languages and investigate issues with a technical leader

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science preferred
• Education in interpreting user requirements and business applications design strongly preferred
• Specific knowledge of Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and programming languages such as C#/C++/C
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
• Understanding of business processes and constraints
