Graphic Design Summer Intern

Location: Rochester, NY (in-office 3 times a week)

Schedule: 8 weeks (starting early June) 40hrs/week

Compensation: $18/hour

Are you a creative thinker with a passion for design and branding? Ithaca Hummus is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our team! This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both print and digital design, working on real projects that support our brand across multiple touchpoints.

What You’ll Do:

🧄 Digital Design – Create static and animated assets for web, social media, and email campaigns

🧄 Print Design – Assist with packaging updates, sell sheets, and in-store signage

🧄 Brand Collaboration – Work within our brand guidelines to bring fresh ideas to life

🧄 Cross-Functional Work – Partner with our marketing, sales, and operations teams

🧄 Fast-Paced Execution – Learn to generate content quickly while meeting deadlines

What You’ll Learn:

🌀 How to design within brand guidelines while thinking creatively

🌀 The process of taking a project from concept to production

🌀 How to present and communicate your design decisions

🌀 The art of brainstorming big ideas and collaborating with a team

Who You Are:

🍋 A student or recent grad in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field

🍋 Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma, and PowerPoint

🍋 A strong communicator who enjoys working in a team setting

🍋 Detail-oriented with a passion for typography, layout, and brand storytelling
